This existing pool was positioned in a very small garden. A major renovation of the house focused the house around this small side garden. The conversion of the pool created a linear rock wetland along the back of the pool with a swimming lane in the foreground.Since the boundary wall is almost as tall as the garden is wide, tall plant species were selected to hide the wall and create the illusion of space. With almost no other planting, the pool functions as a courtyard garden.
